The aluminum frame features a wave shape with a low step-through. This geometry not only ensures balanced handling but also allows people with reduced mobility to mount and dismount comfortably. Combined with the swept-back city handlebars and adjustable stem, the bike promotes an upright, comfortable riding position, allowing you to ride for extended periods without fatigue. You'll sit on the comfortably padded saddle. A suspension fork further enhances riding comfort by absorbing shocks from the road. The ergonomically shaped grips offer ample contact area, thus preventing numbness and similar problems. The electric bicycle is powered by an Ananda hub motor on the front wheel. With 250 watts of power and a torque of up to 40 Nm, you'll make good progress – at speeds of up to 25 km/h. The battery is located on the seat tube, at the bike's center of gravity. This means the pedelec is easy to handle and balance. With a capacity of 374 Wh, it allows for a range of 30 to 115 km. Since factors such as the total weight, the selected assistance level, terrain, and weather conditions like headwinds all influence the range, it's virtually impossible to give an exact figure for e-bike battery range. The LED display is located directly next to the left grip and can be operated with your thumb without having to take your hand off the handlebars. It provides an overview of all 5 support levels, and a walk assist function is also included. In addition to the electric drive, the bicycle also features a chain drive with a 7-speed Shimano Nexus internal gear hub. An internal gear hub has a closed design, which protects the gearbox inside the hub from dirt and water. This minimizes wear and tear and the need for maintenance of the shifting components. Since only one sprocket is required, a perfectly straight chain line is possible, preventing the chain from derailing, ensuring optimal power transmission, and resulting in minimal chain wear. Shifting is done via the proven Shimano RevoShift twist grip shifter, which is simple and comfortable to use. Powerful Promax V-brakes on the front and rear wheels, as well as the coaster brake, ensure excellent control of the bicycle, even at higher speeds. These rim brakes are also characterized by their low-maintenance design and enable particularly precise braking. Only the brake pads need to be replaced when they are worn. The 700c or 28-inch Kenda Khan II wheels with a 40c width offer optimal handling for longer distances on the road. They score points with low rolling resistance and a smooth ride. The reflective strip significantly increases visibility in the dark. As a practical city bike, the Zündapp Z517 is ideally equipped for everyday use and traffic. Above all, it features road-legal lighting with AXA LED lights at the front and rear. A luggage rack and front basket are included. A chain guard, mudguards, and a kickstand are also standard equipment. This means: You don't need to buy any accessories, you can start cycling right away!
