The half-ball replaces 4 fitness devices in one:
Training Tips: When exercising on the unstable half-ball, you are allowed to wobble. This increases the effectiveness of the exercises, as the wobbling effect additionally activates the deep muscles. Always breathe smoothly. During dynamic exercises, exhale during the upward movement and inhale during the downward movement. Pay attention to correct and very slow execution of the movements. If pain occurs during training, seek medical advice. Provided your fitness level allows, a longer exercise duration is recommended. You should feel comfortable; that is, the exertion should never feel too strenuous. To achieve optimal training results with minimal effort, you should train for at least 10 minutes, 2-3 times a week. Scientific studies confirm that training success depends primarily on consistency. Over time, a training effect will develop. To further challenge your body, you can, for example, increase the number of repetitions/exercise duration, perform the movement even more slowly, choose more difficult variations, or repeat the exercise sequence once or up to three times. The half-ball is also suitable for balance exercises while standing on its flat side. Half-ball as a seat cushion: You can adjust the amount of air according to your individual needs. With a high air volume, the half-ball bulges out at the bottom, increasing the trampoline effect (vertical oscillation). With a low air volume, a noticeable indentation forms, the half-ball becomes flatter, and the rocking effect increases. To reduce the air volume, remove the needle from the side of the pump handle, insert it (without the pump) fully into the valve, and then press down on the half-ball. If an uncomfortable bulge forms under your buttocks, you should sit further forward on the ball or adjust the air volume. With a low air volume, you can also sit on the flatter side of the half-ball. To optimize your posture, sit more towards the front of the half-ball. This will create a slight bulge behind your buttocks, about the width of a hand. Most people sit too low. The optimal, open sitting angle is 110° to 120° between your torso and thighs. By regulating the air volume, you can adjust your sitting height on the half-ball accordingly. The half-ball is a seated alternative for back exercises. You can increase your sitting time as your fitness improves.
