The Telefunken RC840 city e-bike impresses above all with its powerful front motor, which, in combination with the long-lasting battery, enables a range of up to 100 km, providing reliable support even on longer journeys. The seat tube battery is not only particularly powerful, but its clever positioning also makes it less visually obtrusive, and its low center of gravity further improves handling. With its step-through frame and removable shopping basket, this comfortable e-bike is a true all-rounder. The range of a pedelec depends significantly on the following factors: - selected assistance level - bike load (rider's weight plus luggage) - terrain profile (flats/inclines/declines) - selected gear - surface (asphalt, dirt road, gravel track, forest floor, muddy surface) - e-bike type and tires - tire pressure - battery charge level - outside temperature - wind conditions - cadence. The actual range is a combination of the above factors and can vary considerably, ranging from approximately 25% to 150% of the stated range. The best range is achieved with medium assistance level, the lowest possible gear, a high cadence, a total payload including luggage of 75 kilograms, maximum permissible tire pressure, a flat surface, an outside temperature of 20°C, no wind, an asphalt surface, and a fully charged battery. A pedelec should not be confused with a gasoline- or electric-powered vehicle. The range of the pedelec is the sum of human and electric power.
